Ingredients
- 200 g cooking chocolate, chopped into rough chunks
- 200 ml condensed milk (roughly half a can)
- 25 g (1 oz) butter
- 150 g hazelnuts
- 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows (if this is not available, get the large ones and chop into small chunks)
Method
- Melt the chocolate, condensed milk and butter in a double boiler (Place these ingredients in a heat-proof bowl over a pan of simmering water).
- Once the mixture has melted, stir in the hazelnuts. Quickly fold in the marshmallows, as they would dissolve if you over-stir them.
- Spoon and spread this mixture over a 23 cm square tin. Allow it to cool down and then chill in the fridge. When it has set, cut into slices.
Food Notes
- You can substitute the hazelnuts with other nuts of your choice, or with 100 g of nuts plus 50 g of raisins.
