Ingredients
- 150 g fresh button mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 4 slices back bacon, fat removed and chopped finely
- 1 tsp oregano
- ½ tsp basil
- ½ tsp rosemary
- 50 gm strong cheddar cheese, grated
- 6 slices Ryvita or other crisp rye bread
- Olive oil
- Black pepper
Method
- Preheat the oven to 190°C.
- Heat the olive oil and sauté the black pepper, oregano, rosemary and basil.
- Add in the bacon and sauté well.
- Add in the mushrooms and continue cooking until the mushrooms are soft.
- Arrange the bacon and mushrooms on top the Ryvita slices and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.
