Macaroni with Ham & Mushroom

Macaroni with Ham & Mushroom
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Serves: 6-8

Ingredients

  • 250g of macaroni (cooked)
  • Cooked ham (sliced thinly)
  • 2-3 fresh mushrooms (diced)
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped onions
  • 1 streaky bacon (diced)
  • ½ teaspoon of fresh parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon of dried basil
  • 150ml milk
  • 50ml oil
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 150ml of chicken stock
  • Salt and pepper
  • Corn flour and water (to thicken sauce if necessary)

Method

  1. Heat pan with oil and add butter.
  2. Add garlic, onion and bacon and stir for about 1 minute or until the garlic is slightly brown.
  3. Add mushroom and ham, and then pour in milk and wine.
  4. Let it cook for 5 minutes and add in cooked macaroni and herbs.
  5. Add the salt and pepper and stir for another 5 minutes.
  6. Add stock if sauce is too thick or add corn flour with water to the sauce if too thin.
  7. Serve hot.
