Ingredients
- 250g of macaroni (cooked)
- Cooked ham (sliced thinly)
- 2-3 fresh mushrooms (diced)
- 2 tablespoons of chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon of chopped onions
- 1 streaky bacon (diced)
- ½ teaspoon of fresh parsley
- ¼ teaspoon of dried basil
- 150ml milk
- 50ml oil
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 150ml of chicken stock
- Salt and pepper
- Corn flour and water (to thicken sauce if necessary)
Method
- Heat pan with oil and add butter.
- Add garlic, onion and bacon and stir for about 1 minute or until the garlic is slightly brown.
- Add mushroom and ham, and then pour in milk and wine.
- Let it cook for 5 minutes and add in cooked macaroni and herbs.
- Add the salt and pepper and stir for another 5 minutes.
- Add stock if sauce is too thick or add corn flour with water to the sauce if too thin.
- Serve hot.
